2024 First Harvest

To make this oil we have selected our finest Hojiblanca, Picual and Coratina trees, picked them extra early whilst the fruit is still green, and cold pressed the fresh fruit within 4 hours of picking. The result is a truly great Australian extra virgin olive oil.

The oil itself is bright lime green with shades of gold that promises intense fresh and herbaceous flavours. The aroma is deliciously complex, with fragrances of freshly mown grass, fresh herbs, citrus zest, and marzipan all combining harmoniously.

And the taste! On the palate the oil is smooth and flavoursome with pleasant bitterness, and with firm spiciness that develops over time. The aftertaste is amazingly clean and balanced, leaving your mouth with reminiscence of fresh green vegetables and tropical fruit.

Our First Harvest 2024 is ideal for seasoning salads of all types; the master touch on grilled vegetables, pasta and fish; or at its simple best, pouring it over freshly toasted bread rubbed with a touch of garlic and sprinkled with salt flakes. Most importantly, use it while it is fresh and ideally use it within 4 to 6 weeks of opening the bottle. We hope you enjoy the 2024 First Harvest as much as we enjoyed creating it for you.
